If a corrugation part is longer than nominal diameter, it is called Flexible hose. If a corrugation part is shorter than nominal diameter, it is called Bellows.

Flexible hose is mainly used to absorb bending displacement and lateral displacement. Bellows is mainly used to absorb axial displacement, lateral displacement and angular displacement.
